How it works

Multipurus™ is a 100% natural coating that activates the photocatalysis process using UVA light. This process provides deep cleaning of surfaces and the air present. The coating is suitable for a wide range of substrates, is completely inert, and has a long-lasting effect.

MULTIPURUS can be applied directly over existing contamination.

Part of the coating may then come off along with the residue of the dirt, which is of course a waste. For an optimal and long-lasting result, it is therefore recommended to first clean the surface, let it dry, and then coat it. This ensures the optimal result is achieved over the long term.

When the contamination is coated over, the contamination will fade and, depending on the surface partially or completely disappear. If residue remains on the surface, it is generally easy to spray off with water, and in outdoor situations, rain will take care of this.

How does Multipurus™ work on glass greenhouse roofs?

Multipurus™ is a 100% natural and non-toxic coating that is applied to the greenhouse roof or facade by nebulizing with water. After a short time, the water evaporates, and the coating hardens within a few hours. The coating is completely inert and does not affect the environment on its own. However, in conjunction with UVA from sunlight, the natural process of photocatalysis is established.

Photocatalysis ranks second in the ranking of cleaning power, immediately following sterilization at 360°C. The effects are manifold: particulate matter, algae, mosses, lichens, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and nitrogen oxides disappear from surfaces and from the air.

In addition, the coating stimulates the diffusion of incoming sunlight, thereby substantially increasing light efficiency. Furthermore, significantly less evaporation occurs due to accelerated drainage of condensation water. This results in significant temperature gains.

How is Multipurus™ applied?

Multipurus™ is applied easily and quickly by water misting. Large surfaces can be treated in a short time, both inside and outside the greenhouse.
